Can you pray for us?
Alana started having seizures on Monday. I came home from work and took her to the doctors, and he said it's going to have to be an elimination process to figure out why she is having them. She was supposed to have her EEG today, but their machine broke, so we have to Seattle tomorrow. I am so thankful my company lets me use sick leave for things like this! This is really hard on us. Unfortunately my husband's brother has a brain tumor, and he had to go through all the testing when he was little. We also have a family history of epilepsy. Please pray that we will have the strength to get through this, and that everything will turn out okay for Alana. Thank you.

Dear, dear Amy! We'll be praying for all of you, especially little Alana.
Our small group prayed for Alana in utero, and tonight we will pray for her trials now! May God bring as gracious a conclusion to this....hang in there!
Thank you all so much for your prayers, both now and when she was not yet born! The EEG showed no urgent spikes in electrical activity, so far so good. We have to wait to find out if she has too many brain waves for her size though. We'll see... if her EEG comes back normal it probably means more tests. Also, I have another request, my husband's cousin, who he grew up with, just had a brain anurism(sp?), it looks like he will pull through though! The hits just keep coming..
